artofwar.jpgSun Tzu Art of War is one of interesting book I’ve read and study recently. In fact it can apply any time in our daily life from whether it is during war, economic power or peaceful time.

This book is the winner of the Independent Publishers Book Award!

According to Winconsin Bookwatch: “…a supremely accurate bilingual edition…Each two-page spread features the translated lines into English on one side and the Chinese ideograms with their meanings on the other so that dedicated readers can readily understand the range of meaning in the original text…The definitive version of The Art Of War for those English speakers who truly want to understand it…”

There are six step to an accurate Art Of War translation:

1. Make it complete by using the 1970 Taipei compilation of the main Chinese textual traditions of fragmentary sources.

2. Individually translate each Chinese ideogram to let readers see the precise formulas in the original text that don’t translate well into English.

3. Construct English sentences that clarify the central meaning of the text but choose words to demonstrate the range of meaning in the original.

4. Preserve the original weight of ideas by creating one and only one line of English for each source line.

5. Duplicate the original weight of the Chinese by grouping and numbering lines clearly to preserve the original contextual associations.

6. Assume that Sun Tzu was rigorously consistent in his ideas. If contradictions exist in the translation, identify and correct the imprecise word usage that creates these contradictions.

SKY-MAP is a non-commercial project. The main purpose of SKY-MAP is to consolidate astronomical, astrophysical and other information about different space objects and astrophysical facts.

When a person reads an article about a star, the star is only the abstraction for that reader. The person cannot emotionally feel the reality of the star without actually seeing it. We strive to create an extremely detailed sky map to help everybody to better understand the information gathering about any space object and various phenomena connected with those space objects.

imgOrthomolecular is a term that comes from ortho, which is Greek for “correct” or “right,” and “molecule,” which is the simplest structure that displays the characteristics of a compound. So it literally means the “right molecule.”

Two-time Nobel Prize winner, and molecular biologist, Professor Linus Pauling, Ph.D.,coined the term “Orthomolecular” in his 1968 article “Orthomolecular Psychiatry” in the journal Science.”

Orthomolecular medicine describes the practice of preventing and treating disease by providing the body with optimal amounts of substances which are natural to the body.
